What is it?
The Test, Link, Call (TLC) Project provides smart phones with 6 months of calling/texting credit to people living with hepatitis C infection who have experienced or are at risk of being criminalized. This includes people who use drugs, people experiencing unstable housing, or people who have been incarcerated.
We are sharing the resources developed for Test Link Call Project to assist any other initiatives wishing to launch something similar. This particular project was launched as a Quality Improvement project with oversight from BC Mental Health and Substance Use Services QI Committee and review by PHSA Risk and Legal team.
Want to be involved in the TLC Project?
Any care providers in the community throughout British Columbia who have a client who they believe is eligible and would benefit from receiving a phone and support through Test Link Call Project can make a referral!
Just have your client read and sign the TLC Consent Form then return this to the TLC Team at the BC Centre for Disease Control, via email or secure file transfer to STBBI_pathways@bccdc.ca.
Below you can learn more about the TLC referral process in the infographic for providers and you will also find a recruitment poster you can use to advertise TLC project, plus all the other resources created by the TLC team.
The News & Stories page include blogs written by team members, news, project updates and past and upcoming events.
