Test, Link, Call (TLC) Project

What is it?

The Test, Link, Call (TLC) Project provides smart phones with 6 months of calling/texting credit to people living with hepatitis C infection who have experienced or are at risk of being criminalized. This includes people who use drugs, people experiencing unstable housing, or people who have been incarcerated.

Participants receive a care plan along with their cell phone, as well as optional connection to Peer and social supports. Phones provided are be preloaded with the LifeGuard app and other health and social service focused mobile applications, to further assist in meeting unmet health needs.

Have a client you think is eligible for a cell phone through TLC Project?

Any care providers in the community throughout British Columbia who have a client who they believe is eligible and would benefit from receiving a phone and support through Test Link Call Project can make a referral!

Just have your client read and sign the TLC Consent Form then return this to the TLC Team at the BC Centre for Disease Control, via email or secure file transfer to STBBI_pathways@bccdc.ca or fax to +1-604-707-5604.
